- What is Learning Pathways?
Learning Pathways is GFOA’s personalized platform that helps you explore roles, assess your skills, and find learning opportunities that support your career growth. - Who can access Learning Pathways?
All GFOA members can log in using their GFOA credentials at learningpathways.gfoa.org. - Where should I start?
Begin on your Dashboard. Complete your profile, take a quick self-assessment, and explore the recommended roles and learning plans.
Profile and Self-Assessment
- How do I build my profile?
Click the profile icon at the top of the page to add your department, current role, and career interests. - What does the self-assessment measure?
The self-assessment helps you see how your knowledge and skills align with your current or target role. - Can I retake my assessment?
Yes. You can update your self-assessment at any time, and your results will automatically recalculate your alignment scores.
Learning Pathway and Resources
- What happens after I complete my assessment?
You’ll receive a personalized list of GFOA resources—such as webinars, guides, and courses—to help close skill gaps. - How do I track progress?
Use your Learning Path to add items, mark them complete, and monitor your development over time. - Are Learning Paths shared with anyone?
No. Your Learning Path is personal to you, though you may choose to discuss it with your supervisor or mentor.
